Frequently asked questions

Do you speak at book clubs and/or library events?

Yes! If you are local (within an hour of Houston), I would love to come to your book club. Please see the Contact page for my email address. If you are not, I'm just as happy to speak with y'all via Skype or Zoom. I also do Facebook book club chats as well.

How can I order your book?

Fatal Family Ties is now available for pre-order! At the bottom of this FAQ page is a button titled "Pre-Order Fatal Family Ties." It will take you directly to my book on Bookshop.org. Or you can pre-order from your local bookstore or Amazon.com

Note:  Bookshop.org is a website that will allow you to purchase from your nearest independent bookstore, which helps not only the author, but also your local bookseller and your local economy!

Murder Once Removed and Lineage Most Lethal are available everywhere, in bookstores, online, and in audiobook. If you don't see it in your local bookstore, it can easily be ordered. I highly recommend shopping local if you can.

Is Murder Once Removed or Lineage Most Lethal at my library? What about in audiobook?

I'm happy to say Murder Once Removed and Lineage Most Lethal are in many libraries. If it's not, you can absolutely request it (and thank you for doing so!). As for audiobook, it most certainly is and is wonderfully narrated. You can download it wherever audiobooks are sold.

Fatal Family Ties will soon be in libraries, too!

Who is your agent?

I'm represented by two lovely agents, Christina Hogrebe and Jess Errera at Jane Rotrosen Agency.

Do you actually do anyone's genealogy?

Unfortunately, no. I'm fascinated by genealogy and have learned some great information in my research, but I'm more of an armchair genealogist than a professional. I highly recommend contacting your nearest genealogy library or local library for contacts regarding genealogists. If you want to do it yourself, I recommend starting at the National Archives website for some great tips and information. https://www.archives.gov/research/genealogy

When is your next book coming out?

I am thrilled to say Fatal Family Ties, the third book in my Ancestry Detective series, is coming in July 20, 2021! You can pre-order now it from bookstores like Barnes & Noble, your favorite local independent bookstore (just call them and ask for it, or go on their website to order), Amazon.com, or Bookshop.org (which lets you support small bookstores when you buy). You can also click below to go straight to Fatal Family Ties on Bookshop.org's website. And thank you so much for reading!
